Author Bio

Darrell Williams, author of Cruising the Personals for Love, has had a very interesting life.  He has gone from being raised in a home with dirt floors in the foothills of North Carolina to a laid-back lifestyle on the shores on the west coast of Florida. 

He excelled in high school basketball, football, and track.  In college he was an All Conference basketball point guard. 

By age 15 he had his first motorcycle.  He began riding in cow pastures, dodging trees in the woods, jumping hills and streams and getting thrown off many times during this riding learning process.   As time passed, these riding lessons led to his becoming a motocross rider for Team Suzuki.  He traveled the eastern United States for Team Suzuki and said those experiences might be a ‘book within itself someday.’

He began researching and reselling information and how-to books many years ago with moderate success.  At age 50, after several years as a sales executive and after a 22 year marriage that ended in divorce, he moved to Florida and opened Mossy Oak Farm Bed and Breakfast.  A few years later, he opened SunCoast Property Sales and then PeachyKeen Gifts an Internet marketing company.  His current Internet company, www.peachykeenpress.com, is a marketer of Internet of eBooks.  Based upon his ‘career’ in personals and internet dating, he wrote Cruising the Personals for Love.  He had so many stories to tell about how dating had changed since his last date 22 years ago.  Many of his friends keep telling him that he probably ‘had a book inside of him.’  So, after a giving it some thought, he put those experiences to pen with Cruising the Personals for Love.   We give this book a “thumbs up.”

Since the publishing and success of Cruising the Personals for Love, Darrell has starting writing two additional books called:  #1. “Second Wife and New Step-daughter:  You better read this before marrying into a step-family!”   A true life tale about his real life step-daughter and all the unbelievable things she did to break up his third marriage, and #2.  “My 50 Years of Two-Wheel Riding”.  His experiences of riding motorcycles from age 15 to currently still riding at age 66.  You will be surprised that the opposite sex is very attracted to motorcyclists.
